Construct an argument supported by evidence for how plants can be grouped according to their features. Take this time to do some planting! Discuss the characteristics of the plant...are the leaves the same, does it produce seed, fruit, flower?
If you aren't able to plant, take a nature walk and notice the wide variety of plants. Another fun idea is to make a garden sensory bin. Fill a bucket with dirt, seeds, and tools and allow kids to explore!
