Hi King Springs Families!
We are very excited to announce that Science Olympiad for this school year is now up and running! For those of you who are familiar with Science Olympiad, it is VERY different this year. One big change is that this year ALL students in grades K-5 are able to participate in this optional educational opportunity. We will not meet after school as in years past and there will not be a district competition. Hopefully the “normal” Science Olympiad will return for the 2021-2022 school year, but until then it is very exciting that more students will have the chance to participate. Students can participate in as many or as few of the challenges as they want. They can even complete the challenges with siblings! Everything will be submitted through Flipgrid and there may even be some prizes awarded. 😊 For event and participation details please go to www.flipgrid.com/kseso Your student will need to login with his/her MICROSOFT credentials: firstname.lastname@students.cobbk12.org and the password they use for CTLS login (should be their 8 digit birth date). Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions! We hope to have a record amount of participation!
Thanks,
Mrs. Whitesell and Mrs. Wilfred
